Job Overview A law firm seeks an intellectual property associate with three to five years of patent experience in Atlanta, GA. The role primarily involves patent preparation and prosecution, with opportunities to engage in diverse intellectual property matters. The position is ideally based in Charlotte, NC, but Tampa, FL or Atlanta, GA locations will also be considered. Duties Prepare and prosecute patent applications. Engage in a variety of intellectual property matters. Conduct complex and detailed analysis of patent-related issues. Communicate effectively with diverse individuals. Requirements J.D. degree and state bar membership. Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Undergraduate degree in science or engineering. Experience in telecommunications, integrated circuits, or related technologies preferred. Education J.D. degree required. Undergraduate degree in science or engineering. Certifications Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Skills Strong organizational and communication skills. Superior investigative and problem resolution skills.
