Finance Associate Attorney

A national law firm is seeking an associate attorney with 3–5 years of general debt finance experience to join its banking and financial services practice in Denver.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have experience with a broad range of commercial lending matters, including:

• Drafting and negotiating credit agreements
• Preparing security documents and other loan documentation
• Managing and closing financing transactions
• Advising lenders and borrowers on various aspects of commercial finance transactions

Experience at a law firm and a strong academic record are preferred.

The practice represents a diverse range of clients, including commercial banks, Farm Credit System institutions, community banks, non-bank lenders, private equity sponsors, family offices, other alternative lenders, and public and private companies.

The compensation structure includes:

• The annual salary for this position is between $215,000 – $245,000 base. Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate
• Discretionary merit bonus based on performance
• 1,850-hour billable-hour target
