Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.What You'll DoOwn the Revenue CloseMaintain revenue policyReview customer contracts and consumption reportsPrepare monthly revenue journal entries in accordance with ASC606Manage Customer OnboardingCoordinate internally and externally to properly on board customers (RFP questionnaires, access to purchase order portals, etc)Build process with sales to collect purchase orders timely from customersEnsure Customers Are Invoiced Timely and AccuratelyBuild scaling systems and processes to ensure timely processing of customer invoicesCoordinate with tax to accurately collect and remit all taxesOwn Customer Collections ProcessCreate and maintain collections dashboard to track statusEnsure timely follow up on past due invoicesDevelop the process to communicate and escalate past due invoicesProactive Involvement in Finance Transformation Initiatives to Leverage AI and Tooling to ScaleEnhance or upgrade our tech stack to enable the latest in AI technologyChallenge our processes and develop AI first approachWhat You'll Bring5-10+ years with a mix of public (highly regulated) and private (hyper growth)Proficient in US GAAP (ASC 606)Ability to identify areas for improvement and build solutions using AIDesire to drive operational efficiency to scale the functionA structured, self-directed, detail-oriented builder and problem solver who can design a process where none exists, run it, and improve it over time without being managed toward it.
