Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for critically ill adult patients in the ICU, delivering evidence-based nursing interventions.
- Monitor patient status, titrate medications per physician orders, interpret alarms, and coordinate ventilator and hemodynamic support as indicated.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans, escalate concerns promptly, and document changes in patient condition.
- Perform high-acuity procedures within scope of practice, assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges, and ensure safe, patient-centered care.
- Administer medications, monitor for adverse effects, and uphold infection control, safety standards, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Communicate clearly with patients’ families and provide education and support as appropriate, while maintaining professional standards and ethics.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia (or eligible to obtain).
- ICU experience in adult critical care; 1+ year preferred.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Ability to work nights in a high-acuity hospital ICU environment.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred (ADN accepted).
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary setting.
