Litigation Attorney

Job Description

Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of legal experience to join a growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation, commercial business litigation, and transactional law , along with strong research, writing, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Handle civil and commercial business litigation matters.
Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Assist with transactional legal matters as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
Support case preparation, strategy, and litigation proceedings.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of litigation experience.
At least one year of defense litigation experience.
Active Virginia Bar license in good standing.
Experience in civil litigation, commercial business litigation, and transactional law .
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Trial experience preferred but not required.
Additional bar admissions in North Carolina , the District of Columbia , Maryland , or other nearby jurisdictions are a plus .
