Accounting Specialist – Apply Today! Are you an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, problem-solving, and keeping financial operations running smoothly? We’re looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of our growing organization. What You’ll Do Processing accounts payable and receivable, purchase cards, and cash receipts Preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations Assisting with monthly accounting cycles, payroll support, and bank reconciliations Communicating with vendors to resolve issues and maintain accurate financial records Managing revenue reporting, auditing transactions, and supporting state audit preparation Helping with fare box processing, travel expenses, and other operational accounting duties This position works directly with the Accounting Manager and collaborates across departments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial transactions.
