Floating Leasing Consultant – Job Overview As a Floating Leasing Consultant, you will primarily market and lease apartments, interface with prospective residents, handle day‑to‑day resident issues, and coordinate lease renewals. You will provide excellent service to all residents, prospects, and visitors across our communities. Key Responsibilities Effectively lease apartments and sell property products and services in accordance with budget guidelines. Follow Fair Housing Standards in all interactions with prospects and residents. Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends. Maintain thorough product knowledge of properties and major competition, and conduct outside marketing activities. Coordinate the application review for each lease, including credit and income verifications. Complete lease packets and files for each resident, including the lease, all addenda, and other documentation as indicated on the checklist. Ensure the condition of leased apartments before move‑in, including a final inspection and walk‑through with the resident. Follow up with residents throughout their lease terms and coordinate the renewal process for each lease. Provide excellent customer service to residents, ensuring their needs are met. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality. Qualifications BA/BS in business, sales, or related field, or relevant experience. 1+ years of experience in multi‑family leasing or 1+ years of experience in B2B selling is desired. Strong marketing and creativity skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite and ability to use a computer. Knowledge of Yardi Voyager or similar property management programs is a plus. Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Ability to perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions. Physical Requirements Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs. Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials. Must be comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects. Benefits Opportunities for career growth.
