Patient Service RepresentativeThe PSR will be responsible for timely and accurate recording of patient demographics, insurance information, patient charges and collections. Scheduling patient appointments in a timely and accurate manner. Cross training required in multiple administrative support functions.Responsibilities:Primary point of contact for patient relations in person and by phone.Greet patients and assist in resolving patient concerns and escalating as appropriate.Check patients in/out and collect co-payments, give receipts, and reconcile payments.Verify patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic.Schedule appointments and complete patient registration.Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.Handle patient/provider correspondence.Explains policies, procedures, or services to patients.Sanitize workspace using provided supplies and following department guidelines.Experience:Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans1+ year of recent experience working in an outpatient clinic or medical office settingAbility to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructionsFlu vaccinated (no exemptions)Education:High School DiplomaAbout US Tech Solutions: US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
