Merchandiser

The Merchandiser is responsible for executing the display and visibility strategies of Pan Pepn products in assigned points of sale, ensuring a prominent presence, correct product rotation, and compliance with the company's quality and freshness standards.

Requirements

• Diploma of fourth year or equivalent. Associate degree or technical course preferred
• Previous experience in marketing, sales or handling of consumer products (preferably in the food industry)
• Availability to work irregular hours, weekends and holidays
• Current ELAPR driver's license
• Basic knowledge in handling computers or mobile devices
• Availability to travel and visit multiple stores daily

Responsibilities

• Arrange merchandise in gondolas, secondary displays, "endcaps" and promotional areas according to approved planogram.
• Verify that all products are properly labeled with price, date and corresponding tags.
• Ensure that the assigned space in warehouses is properly organized at all times.
• Ensure the correct rotation of inventory following the FIFO (FirstIn,FirstOut) policy both in the point of sale and in the warehouse.
• Remove out-of-code product and notify the Route Seller for the corresponding process.
• Maintain and update POP material (signs, "shelftalkers" promotions, shoppers, banners, etc.).
• Execute montages of specials, product launches and promotional displays.
• Identify opportunities for additional space in gondola and secondary spaces to increase visibility and sales.
• Work and support the Route Seller and Key Account Managers (KeyAccounts) to maximize sales opportunities.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with store managers and supervisors.
• Report violations of space agreements, specials or displacement by competition to the Sales Supervisor.
