Technical Sales Manager, Genomics (Mid-Atlantic Region)

Technical Sales Manager for genomics portfolio covering the Mid-Atlantic region. Role involves managing large life science accounts, developing account strategies, and driving sales of NGS, services, and dPCR products while leading cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute large account strategies targeting decision makers
- Coordinate local sales team and support specialists to maximize customer engagement
- Meet or exceed sales targets for Life Science products with emphasis on consumables and assay revenue
- Monitor annual sales targets, KPIs, and deliver accurate forecasts with sales team
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree; graduate degree preferred
- 3+ years directly related sales experience in Life Science industry
- 2+ years managing genomics core facility or NGS technical experience
- Proven leadership, team management, and budget experience
- Knowledge of molecular biology, relevant markets, and QIAGEN products
- Willingness to travel 50-70% within assigned territory
Compensation: $115,000-$145,000 base plus commission
