Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is recruiting a Warehouse Associate/Materials Control Worker for a dynamic team in Columbia, MD.Position Summary:Pick, QC, and pack shipments while aiding in inbound, outbound, and kitting/restocking operations using WMS.Job Responsibilities:Assist with daily UPS drop-off for inbound shipments. Transfer all packages from truck, stack, and transport to sorting areaSort all inbound material using WMS on handheld device; restock or bring to kitting areas as neededPick and pack shipments daily using WMS on handheld deviceAssist with kitting tasks as neededStock newly received inventoryRestock depleted pick locations with reserve inventory as needed or when directedConduct daily cycle counts using WMS on handheld deviceAssist with administrative tasks as neededAssist with larger-scale projects such as inventory re-orgsMaintain clean and organized workspacesAssist with other tasks as determined by warehouse managementMinimum Qualifications:HS Diploma1 or more years' experience using smartphone devices1 or more years' experience using PCs for basic functions (e.g., using web browser, checking email)1 or more years' experience working on feet for 8+ hours a day1 or more years' experience lifting up to 70 lbs dailyPreferred Qualifications:Current or previous Labcorp experience.1 or more years' experience using handheld scanner devicesAdditional Job Standards:Organization and attention to detailAbility to work in fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditionsWork Environment:This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, safety box cutters.
