Quick Facts Location: 500 Campus Drive, Hancock, MI 49930 Start Date: 07/18/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing / as needed Shift: 12-hour shifts (8am - 8pm) Hours/Week: Variable, based on scheduling Employment Type: Temporary / Locum Licensure/Certifications: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (required), Board Eligible considered Experience: Previous ED experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Competitive pay rate: $1.00/hour Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Reimbursements for licensure, travel, and certifications 24/7 dedicated team to support your success What You’ll Do Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population averaging 36 patients per day Manage both inpatient and outpatient cases in a fast-paced ED setting Collaborate with ED RNs and 1 APP to deliver quality patient care Utilize Meditech EMR for charting and documentation Admit approximately 3 patients per shift as needed Cover shifts on a 7-day per week schedule, with onsite orientation one day prior to start date Support ongoing staffing needs with flexibility for credentialing and privileges What You Need Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (Board Eligible considered) Minimum of 1+ years of emergency medicine experience Current valid medical license in Michigan Excellent clinical skills and teamwork abilities Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment About the Assignment This role is at a prominent hospital in Hancock, MI, providing vital emergency services.
