Position Overview: ICU Registered Nurse responsible for providing critical care nursing services to adult ICU patients, managing complex medical conditions, administering advanced therapies, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a high-acuity environment. Job duties: Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult ICU patients with complex medical and surgical diagnoses. Monitor and manage ventilated patients, BiPAP/CPAP therapy, HFNC, and respiratory support interventions. Administer and titrate continuous IV sedation, cardiac drips, and vasoactive medications per protocols. Perform central line, PICC line, arterial line care, blood product administration, and advanced IV therapy management. Assess and manage neurological, cardiac, renal, and multisystem organ failure patients including stroke and post-neurosurgical care. Requirements: License: Registered Nurse License; Pending NM/Compact license accepted (must be obtained prior to start) Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience; 1 year experience accepted per job overview; first-time travelers accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS (preferred), NIHSS Other requirement: Experience with critical care procedures including ventilator management, dysrhythmia management, IV insulin protocols, infection prevention, and emergency response. Unit Details: Unit: ICU (5050-1004) Patient Ratios: 1:2 (Days/Nights/Weekends) Patient Population: Adult ICU patients Patient Diagnoses: Critical care patients requiring management of respiratory failure, cardiac conditions, neurological emergencies, renal failure, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, GI surgery recovery, and post-neurosurgical care. Choice of 3x12 or 4x12 schedule available.
