Account Manager - Sales & Service

We’re a new local franchise helping commercial kitchens keep walk-ins, reach-ins, and freezers sealed and running. This role is primarily about building the customer base. You’ll prospect restaurants, grocers, and other foodservice operators in Northeast Ohio, turn conversations into orders, and often complete the work yourself. Existing-account inspections and add-on sales are part of the job, but the priority is finding and closing new accounts. Commissions are uncapped.

What you’ll do

• Prospect and qualify commercial kitchens in the assigned territory (restaurants, grocery, institutional, and similar)
• Generate leads through cold outreach, in-person visits, referrals, and local networking
• Present gasket replacement, door sweeps, strip curtains, and related kitchen services
• Build a pipeline, follow up consistently, and close business
• Perform quarterly inspections and identify add-on work as the existing book grows
• Install refrigeration gaskets and related products on site (most jobs are restaurant kitchens)
• Coordinate with the owner on scheduling, materials, and larger or follow-on work
• Keep clean records of activity, quotes, and jobs
• Hit sales targets

What we’re looking for

• B2B sales or business-development experience, ideally in a service or trade-adjacent field
• Comfortable knocking on doors, making calls, and talking with kitchen managers and owners
• Self-directed; able to manage your own calendar and pipeline
• Willing and able to do the physical work: gasket installs, basic door/hardware work, time on your feet in kitchens
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Basic hand tools / handyman capability
• CRM experience is a plus, not required
• Restaurant or commercial kitchen knowledge is a plus

The SEALS of Cleveland fabricates and installs commercial refrigeration gaskets and related kitchen products on site. We serve restaurants and other foodservice operators across the Cleveland area. The company is early-stage, so this person will help build the book of business from the ground up—not farm an existing list.
