Security Officer - Reception Desk

As a Security Officer - Reception Desk in West Chester, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to monitor access, support security-related procedures, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location within a financial services environment. Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and following established entry and notification procedures. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, employees, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed. Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity through proper channels. Support front desk operations by observing lobby activity, helping to deter unauthorized access, and documenting daily events, incidents, and/or visitor interactions in accordance with site policies. Minimum Requirements: A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
