Radiographer-Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center-Full Time M-F 3p-11p

Job Responsibilities Responsible for X-raying patients using radiologic equipment that produces radiographs for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Radiologist. Generates high-quality images of patients to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Prepares and maintains records and files as directed. Perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. Demonstrate knowledge of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization. Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient queries or concerns. Maintain equipment for procedures, assessing safety and patient comfort. Monitor need for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School. NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a Health Care Facility, Hospital System or relevant area. 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
