Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 1 for our premier account, Lakeside Retirement Community at Waterman Village in Mount Dora, FL. To learn more about Waterman Village: Waterman Village What You’ll Do Direct daily operations of food service operations; Ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources, ensures operating standards and regulatory requirements are met; Develop and implement plans, projects, with defined objectives, methods, timetables and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plan; Establish a safe work environment; Utilize Sodexo tools and programs to develop client, customer, and staff relationships to ensure account retention. What You Bring Has at least 2 years of work history in hospitality which demonstrates strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively; Is an independent self‑starter who can work in a high‑paced environment with a very demanding client who can multi‑task while managing 20+ associates; Has an eye for details and a strong background in food safety and sanitation compliance; Has a passion for a high level of customer service; ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate professional communication skills; Is an independent self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment; ability to create a positive environment while managing a team of associates. Minimum Management Experience - 2 years.
