Job Description
Title
Speech-Language Pathologist - Pediatric

Requirements
- 1 year of pediatric speech-language pathology experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with pediatric developmental delays, language disorders, fluency and voice issues, oral-motor and feeding-related skills, and augmentative & alternative communication (AAC).
- Familiarity with standardized assessment tools (e.g., PLS-4, CELF) and SLP evaluation coding.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and diagnoses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including social services, to provide comprehensive care.
- Educate families and patients on treatment strategies and support.
- Monitor and document progress of patients in compliance with facility policies.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 8 hours required.
- Include all requested time off at the time of submission.
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 specified holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
- Candidates may be asked to float within the hospital as needed.
