CDR ProSource is seeking a Edge Finishing Machine Operator to join our team near Bristol, IN . The ideal candidate for this position will be a motivated individual with strong work ethics, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to provide results in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-Time
Job Location: Bristol, IN
Pay Rate: $21 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:15 PM -10:30PM (2nd Shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate edgebanding machinery according to job specifications and production requirements.
• Read and interpret part labels, work instructions, and edging summary sheets.
• Load edgebanding materials and adjust machine settings as needed.
• Scan QR codes and process parts using a one-piece flow production system.
• Perform routine quality checks (every 10th part) to ensure product consistency and accuracy.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and proper edging quality.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure equipment is operating properly.
• Monitor dust collection systems and follow all startup and shutdown procedures.
• Assist other departments as needed to maintain production flow.
• Follow company procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements at all times.
• Lift 20–40 lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
• Follow company policies, including timekeeping and attendance expectations.
• Maintain a safe work environment and remain aware of surroundings.
• Assist in identifying and resolving production bottlenecks.
• Support team productivity and workflow across departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete a minimum of two (2) weeks of training on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and adapt to changing processes.
• Strong observation skills with the ability to identify machine or product issues.
• Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Organized with the ability to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow instructions.
