In Abbott's Electrophysiology (EP) business, we're advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.In this role, you will be responsible for the reporting of Irvine's monthly results, as well as assisting with budget cycles, and any ad hoc analysis requested from leadership. You will also be responsible for preparing financial presentations, participating in various projects or tasks, assisting with monthly financial closing activities, as well as preparing financial models and ad hoc analysis.What You'll Work OnBudgeting and forecasting, cost center spend, headcount and capitalParticipates in ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by finance managementProvides routine reports to leadershipWorks with business partners to consolidate month-end analysis and provide commentary related to the financial close cycleExecutes annual goals and objectives as defined by the Finance teamCompletes month-end activities including journal entry preparation, variance analysis and reportingComplies with regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignmentsMaintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendorsPerforms other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field2+ years of experience performing financial and variance analysis, forecasting, planning, and/or financial modelingAdvanced level of proficiency with ExcelPrevious experience working with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Experience working with financial systems applicationsStrong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely mannerPreferred QualificationsAdvanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related fieldMedical device experienceExperience with Hyperion Essbase, Dodeca, and/or SAPThe base pay for this position is $81,500.00 – $141,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
