Payroll Specialist

We are currently seeking a talented Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role but can be primarily remote and can be located in NYC, Miami, or Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

• Processes new employees into Rippling, manages payroll system.
• Thoroughly reviews timesheets from multiple systems and pay rates for any discrepancies, and fixes any errors to ensure accuracy.
• Assists managers in tracking OT.
• Is available to assist employees with general payroll questions.
• Processes off-cycle payrolls when necessary / overnights final pay checks as needed.
• Handles all aspects of payroll processing for team members, to include separations, manual checks, garnishments, benefits deductions, and child support.
• Compiles payroll data and reports upon request and from time-to-time.
• Performs payroll audits to ensure withholding, pay, and general compliance.
• Uploads appropriate documents into payroll system.
• Communicates important information effectively with HR, managers, and employees.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field required
• Certification in Payroll or Accounting preferred
• 5+ years California payroll experience.
• Experience with Rippling and ADP preferred
• Experience with payroll system implementation a plus.
• Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, emphasis on Excel
