About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to provide strategic leadership in accounting, financial reporting, and global operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions across U.S. and APAC entities, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and leading the financial close process, including SEC filings. This role also involves managing financial planning, treasury, and capital markets activities, as well as supporting investor relations and board engagement. The VP of Finance will be a key player in governance, risk, and compliance, and will lead special projects and strategic initiatives, including FinTech-related activities and M&A. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA strongly preferred, and at least 15 years' of progressive leadership experience in corporate accounting and finance. A background in e-commerce or large-scale retail operations is highly valued. The role requires a deep understanding of financial management in a complex, global business environment, including experience with multi-entity, multi-currency structures, and a strong command of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team development, be adept at leading through change, and possess excellent communication skills. Experience with public company financial reporting, particularly in the context of SEC registrants, is essential.
