The unit features: Number of Beds: 10 LDR, 3 Triage, 2 OR Suites Number of Staff: 30 RNs Staff Composition: Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 2 Labor and Delivery RNs, 1 Nursery Nurse Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 2 Labor and Delivery RNs, 1 Nursery Nurse Patient Ratios: 1 RN for every 2 Laboring Patients Type of Equipment: GE monitoring, Novii Wireless, Spectrum IV Pumps, CADD epidural PCA Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech Qualifications We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and certifications: Must Have: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferred: Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification Typical Procedures Common procedures performed in this unit include: Inductions Cesarean Sections (C/S) Spontaneous Vaginal Deliveries (SVD) Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities: Excellent communication skills Friendly and collaborative demeanor Dress Code The dress code requires the use of appropriate scrubs.
