Specialist, Email & Database Marketing | Hybrid (Chicago, IL) We are seeking an Email & Database Marketing Specialist to support the digital development of consumer‑facing messages for Wilson Hardgoods and our baseball brands (DeMarini, Louisville Slugger, EvoShield, ATEC & Team.Shop) including batch‑send emails, automated emails, and SMS messages. Specific Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) Coordinating and executing campaign‑based email sends, working with marketing and creative services to align content with best practices (e.g., content layout, copy edits). Updating automated marketing workflows/journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Braze. Collaborating closely with outside vendors such as Movable Ink. Executing A/B tests to improve email engagement and conversion rates. Launching SMS marketing campaigns and optimizing existing triggered campaigns. Contributing to email/SMS performance reporting and CRM metrics analysis. Staying up‑to‑date on industry trends and regulations (CCPA, GDPR, etc.), ISPs, monitoring tools, and best practices. Monitoring changes that affect deliverability and recommending adjustments to Wilson’s email program. Performing other related duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in an email or marketing‑related role. Preferred familiarity with ecommerce, sporting goods or lifestyle apparel, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, email best practices, proofreading, marketing copywriting, HTML/CSS, or personalization languages such as AMPscript or Liquid. Other Qualifications Ability to juggle multiple competing deadlines and responsibilities. Strong attention to detail. Ability to incorporate feedback from non‑channel partners. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Judgment to assess marketing communication clarity for target consumers. What We’ll Provide Pay range: $60,000 – $70,000 per year . Salary within the range depends on job‑related skills, experience, education, and/or training. This figure represents base pay only and does not include the bonus program.
