Payroll Specialist
Essential Functions
- Compile payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance, and payroll deductions to be withheld, and employee identification number, from time sheets and other records.
- Prepare computer input forms, enter data into computer files, or compute wages and deductions and post to payroll records.
- Review wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.
- Record changes affecting net wages such as exemptions and insurance coverage for each employee to update master payroll records.
- Prepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions.
- Reconcile all payroll related ledger accounts.
- Prepare all payroll related government reports.
- Keep records of leave pay and nontaxable wages.

Qualifications
Education
Associates or better.
Experience
UKG experience preferred
1 to 3 years experience preferred
