Job Summary The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner, ensuring smooth parking and vehicle retrieval, assisting with luggage, and delivering a memorable experience throughout the facility. Compensation & Benefits Hourly base pay: $19.18 to $19.50 Tips + $2.21 shift differential for overnight Benefits include accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Eligibility depends on classification, length of employment and hours worked. Seasonal and temporary roles may not be eligible for benefits. Work Schedule Friday through Sunday. Responsibilities Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients. Greet guests within five feet, using salutation of the day and guest last names. Use proper Towne Park phone etiquette. Park and retrieve vehicles safely, driving slowly and cautiously. Assist guests with bell services, luggage storage, and opening vehicle or hotel doors. Provide directions, arrange taxis, reservations, and answer inquiries about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions. Deliver messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested; shuttle guests to approved locations. Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures, issue claim checks after receiving keys, and collect claim checks before returning keys. Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt; complete location on key tags after parking. Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when required. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Valid state driver’s license (or within commutable distance). One month of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of customer service principles and the ability to read/write standard English. Understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings. Basic math skills: add/subtract three‑digit numbers, multiply/divide with tens and hundreds, use American money units. Understand 24‑hour and military time systems and applicable rates. Manual transmission operation and parallel parking are highly desirable. Authority & Decision Making The role follows established practices and procedures. Decisions are made within specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines; errors could affect smooth operation. Working Conditions & Physical Demands Requires frequent talking or hearing; frequent sitting or standing; occasional running, walking, handling objects; reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling. Requires close, distance, color, peripheral, depth vision and ability to adjust focus. Lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, up to 20 pounds constantly. Work outdoors most of shift; exposure to extreme heat and cold; travel up to 5% may be required.
