Job Description

The role follows a schedule from 7:50am to 3:20pm, providing balanced workdays in a dynamic and collaborative educational atmosphere.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
Experience working with middle school students preferred
Strong ability to adapt instruction to various learning styles and needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to student growth and individualized learning plans
Team player attitude and collaborative problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support within the resource classroom to ensure student progress
Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to coordinate services
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Conduct ongoing assessments to tailor instruction and track progress
Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom culture
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students to maximize educational outcomes
