Radiology - CT Tech

Radiologic Technologist (Dual Modality)

This position involves working as a dual-modality technologist, performing both CT and general X-ray examinations, including portable X-rays. The facility provides 24/7 on-site imaging services, including X-ray, CT, and ultrasound. The average emergency department visits are around 45 per day, with approximately 30 diagnostic radiology and CT studies performed daily. Candidates should be able to assist in patient care responsibilities, including obtaining vital signs and monitoring patients. The technologist may be required to chaperone some ultrasound exams as needed. The department utilizes an electronic medical record (EMR) system and radiology information system (RIS) and employs specific imaging equipment. Teamwork is essential, and staff from various specialties collaborate to provide high-quality patient care. The work environment requires adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
