In this position, the candidate will: Prepare legal documents (deeds, easements, releases, receipts, affidavits, etc.) for obtaining clear property titles for projects. Review and analyze property appraisals and preliminary title commitment reports and secures title updates. Arrange and conduct meetings with property owners, presenting written offers, negotiating settlement offers, and securing necessary signatures. Interpret construction plans and explain project details to property owners. Act as a liaison between property owners and clients, addressing concerns and clarifying project impacts. Prepare written correspondence and reports and perform data entry into various databases. Manage multiple property acquisition assignments, schedule meetings efficiently, and ensure timely property acquisition. Assist with business development efforts. Track project status, milestones, deadlines, and report assignment status to supervisors and management. Perform tasks at county courthouses, including recording conveyance documents, researching property ownership, and obtaining copies of records. Create, file, and maintain all documentation required by clients. Conduct quality control checks on colleagues’ work. Perform other duties as assigned.
