Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (Specialty: PT IP) in the inpatient setting, responsible for providing therapy services to patients on a day shift basis. This role involves performing evaluations, treatments, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic activities. The position supports a highly cohesive and engaged department focused on delivering quality patient care.

- Shift : Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week

- Required Qualifications : Valid Florida license, BLS certification, 0 years of experience required, ability to perform evaluations, treatments, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic activities
- Unit Information :
- Unit: Inpatient Physical Therapy Department
- Number of Beds: 281
- Staff: 11 full-time Physical Therapists, 2 Physical Therapist Assistants, 2 PRN (as needed) office coordinators
- Schedule: All staff work the day shift with patient ratios of 8-10 patients per 8-hour shift, assigned 10-13 patients
- Equipment: Walkers, crutches, braces, wheelchairs
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Call Requirements: Call by 7:00am
- Additional Information :
- The department is highly cohesive and engaged, with a positive atmosphere and hardworking team.
- Previous travel experience and the ability to quickly adapt and learn Meditech are preferred.
- Dress code: Gray scrubs.
