Construction Project Coordinator

Position Title Construction Project Coordinator Company Name Paseo Construction Pay Range $65,000-$75,000 based on experience Employment Type Full-Time Location Los Angeles, CA Industry General Construction (Residential, Commercial) Job Overview Paseo Construction is seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Project Coordinator/Engineer to support the seamless execution of construction projects from start to finish. This hybrid role bridges the gap between design, field operations, and project management. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable in the office and on-site—providing technical insight, managing documentation, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and driving operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Support field operations and project management with both technical and administrative tasks. Ensure all construction activities comply with project plans, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate and track project schedules, subcontractor timelines, and critical path milestones. Monitor budgets, assist with forecasting, and track cost-to-complete reports. Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project correspondence. Assist with field inspections, punch lists, and documentation of project progress. Prepare and maintain detailed reports, logs, and meeting minutes. Provide support during pre‑construction planning and closeout processes. Serve as a communication hub between field teams, vendors, designers, and management. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination, engineering, or related fieldwork. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, project specifications, and construction documents. Solid communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Experience with project management software (ProCore) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Self‑starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
