ATTORNEY

Job Purpose:The Attorney at Elefterakis, Elefterakis & Panek is responsible for providing expert legal representation to clients in personal injury cases. This role involves evaluating claims, gathering evidence, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court to secure compensation for injuries caused by negligence. The attorney must ensure that all legal and ethical standards are maintained throughout the legal process.Key Responsibilities:Evaluate personal injury claims to determine their legal merit and potential for success.Gather and analyze evidence to build a strong case for each client.Negotiate settlements with opposing parties to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.Represent clients in court proceedings, presenting evidence and arguments effectively.Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and advice on their case status.Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in all aspects of case management.Collaborate with other legal professionals and staff within the firm to support case preparation and strategy development.Stay informed about changes in personal injury law and legal precedents to provide informed counsel to clients.Required Education:Passed bar examinationRequired Experience:Proven experience as a personal injury attorney, with a successful track record of handling personal injury cases.Experience in evaluating claims, gathering evidence, and negotiating settlements.Demonstrated ability to represent clients in court effectively to secure compensation for injuries caused by negligence.Required Skills and Abilities:Strong analytical skills to evaluate claims and gather necessary evidence.Excellent negotiation skills to achieve favorable settlements for clients.Proficient in managing case files and ensuring all legal and ethical standards are met.Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and other legal professionals.Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough preparation and representation in court. #J-18808-Ljbffr
