Job Description:

Job Summary
This position supports pricing requests for customer opportunities by leveraging strong analytical and data management skills to evaluate complex business scenarios. The incumbent reviews pricing requests for accuracy and completeness, identifies data gaps and partners with Sales to obtain necessary information and drive timely resolution. This role utilizes a variety of pricing, reporting, and analytical tools to dissect and synthesize datasets, identify trends and patterns, assess financial impacts, and develop data-driven recommendations within UPS pricing guidelines.

The successful candidate demonstrates a high level of accountability, critical thinking, and sound judgment while navigating complex pricing scenarios. This role plays a crucial part in supporting sales partners with retention efforts and revenue growth by providing timely, accurate, and strategic pricing recommendations. Through strong collaboration, continuous process improvement, and a commitment to service excellence, the incumbent helps drive positive business outcomes for both customers and UPS.

Responsibilities:

• Assists sales with understanding of pricing systems, strategies, and tactics.
• Develops proposals and forwards to sales and other pricing groups to facilitate fulfillment of customer requests.
• Engages with sales and sales leadership on a daily basis providing consultative advice on competitor activities and pricing strategies
• Works cross functionally with other UPS functions to confirm pricing details and agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance to policies.
• Obtains knowledge of pricing systems and tools to accurately track proposals and expand on pricing knowledge.
• Works with appropriate internal systems to ensure timely and accurate pricing.
• Reviews customer accepted pricing proposals to ensure contract integrity.
• Works on various projects centered on process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field - Preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, complex formulas, data validation, and report development.
• Demonstrated ability to extract, review, interpret, and synthesize large and complex datasets to identify trends, uncover insights, assess business impacts, and create meaningful reports and recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with experience transforming data into actionable business decisions.
• Experience using reporting, database, and analytical tools to manage, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources; proficiency with Microsoft Access or other database tools preferred.
• Experience creating cost statements, profitability analyses, and other financial evaluations preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present data-driven findings and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Job Grade - 20E

The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia and will require commuting to the office. Employer will not sponsor a visa for this position. Candidates must be currently in the same geographic location or willing to relocate independently.
