Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic Urology – Detroit Medical Center Location: Hamtramck, Michigan Employment Type: Staff (part time) Duration: Ongoing Hours: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts Summary Description Under general supervision of the manager for the specialty area, the RN will serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide consultative nursing services within a urology clinic. The RN will act as a patient advocate, provide emotional support and home‑care instructions to patients and families, offer ongoing staff and community education, and support the implementation of outreach and outpatient programs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan. Specialty certification from a professional organization preferred. Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience, including one year in a specialty area. Two to three years of pediatric nursing experience, including one year in a specialty area, if in a pediatric setting (for positions requiring pediatric care). Pediatric acute care experience.
