CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the fiscal health, capital planning, and risk management operations of Traditional Bank and its affiliates. Acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board of Directors, the CFO drives the long-term strategic vision of the bank, aligning capital management, investment strategies, and financial forecasting with future growth and profitability goals. The CFO chairs the Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO), and serves as the primary liaison to the Board, shareholders, and regulators regarding financial matters.

KEY FUNCTIONS ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

Drives the formulation and execution of the Bank’s long-term strategic plan, developing financial models, capital strategies, and performance measures that support sustained growth.

Advises the CEO and Board on strategic capital allocation, market expansion, and new product initiatives.

Chairs the ALCO committee, strategically managing interest rate risk (IRR), liquidity, and economic value of equity (EVE) to optimize the balance sheet for long-term stability and profitability.

Directs the Bank’s investment policy and portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment with liquidity needs, risk appetite, and strategic return goals. Confers with the CEO and/or President to implement and optimize the Bank’s investment policy.

Oversees all internal, external, and regulatory reporting for the Bank and its affiliates, ensuring accurate and timely issuance to executive management, the Board, and regulatory bodies.

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining effective internal control over financial reporting. Oversees most administrative reconciliation of accounts and regulatory reporting.

Leads the development of comprehensive annual budgets and financial projections to guide executive decision-making both bank-wide and market-specific.

Completes on-line compliance training asrequired.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises three direct reports (Accounting Officer, Finance Administrative Assistant, and Finance Assistant). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsible for fostering a team-oriented, collaborative work environment. Focuses on talent development, coaching, and building a high-performing finance department capable of scaling with the Bank’s growth.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

1. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance; or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities.
2. Approximately 10+ years related work experience with extensive background in financial institution accounting and auditing, operations, internal controls, and policies and procedures suitable for a multi-billion-dollar institution.
3. Ability and willingness to lead and work independently, exercise sound judgment and confidentiality, and champion the Traditional Bank culture.
4. Must have high-level analytical capabilities in long-term strategic planning, financial forecasting, and scaling bank operations. Preferred experience with tax strategy and hedge accounting.
5. Strong knowledge of ALCO process and tools, including the ability to effectively manage and monitor daily cash flow, liquidity, and bond investment portfolio.
6. Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex financial concepts with the Board, regulators, and non-financial executives.
7. Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives while meeting required deadlines.
8. Experience with Jack Henry and SilverLake systems preferred.
