Founding Product Manager

Our client is an AI native, Series A startup (~15 employees) building the operating system for a massive, underserved blue collar industry that modern software has barely touched. Their platform is already live with hundreds of operators across 40+ states, with AI agents doing real work in the field, at the point of service, and on the phones. This is a rare chance to be one of the first dedicated Product Managers at a company that has already proven product market fit and is now scaling fast, where you own outcomes, not just documents, and where the tools you use to build are as modern as the product itself. About The Role Our client is looking for a mid level PM with 3+ years of experience who is an AI native builder, someone who talks to customers, builds prototypes using AI tools, and ships product without waiting for engineers to do it for them. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with blue collar operators (truck drivers, business owners, field crews) and thrives in a scrappy, early stage environment. Bonus points for experience in logistics, field services, or vertical SaaS. What You'll Do Own an entire product area (sales and marketing suite or financial products) end to end, from customer discovery through shipping Talk directly to customers to understand pain points, workflows, and opportunities Build functional prototypes and get products 90% of the way there using AI tools, with engineering stepping in for the final 10% Hold the product vision for your area while making practical tradeoffs daily Become the in house domain expert on your product surface Ship fast and iterate, no lengthy PRD cycles or handoff culture Requirements 3+ years of experience in product management at early stage startups Comfortable using AI prototyping tools (Cursor, Claude, GPT, Replit Agent, etc.) to build real product, not just mockups Strong customer discovery instincts and comfort working with non technical, blue collar end users Bias toward shipping over process; thrives without lengthy PRD cycles or handoff culture Comfortable in a scrappy, resource constrained, early stage environment Base salary: $150,000–$220,000, depending on experience Meaningful early stage equity Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage #J-18808-Ljbffr Waterstone Human Capital
