Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor, Gastrointestinal Oncology

Overview The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) are jointly recruiting a full-time clinical faculty member specializing in clinical care of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies. The position is on the Full Time Clinical Faculty pathway with an approximate 80:20 contribution to clinical service and academic pursuits. The role will focus primarily on ambulatory clinical care of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies at a world-renowned comprehensive cancer center. Administrational, research, and instructional activities of the Clinical Research Division, and teaching responsibilities, including oversight of trainees during outpatient and inpatient clinical activities, and lectures, are also part of the position. The primary, annual appointment will be in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch. The position will report to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutch and the Division Head of Hematology and Oncology. Anticipated Start Date: November 2026 (flexible) Qualifications MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent) Completion of an ACGME accredited Oncology or Hematology/Oncology Fellowship and ABIM certification and maintenance of certification in Oncology (or foreign equivalent) Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record in clinical care with a primary focus on gastroenterological malignancies. Salary and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is from $315,000.00 to $335,000.00 for faculty hired at the Clinical Assistant Professor rank, from $350,000.00 to $375,000.00 for faculty hired at the Clinical Associate Professor rank, and from $385,000.00 to $405,000.00 for faculty hired at the Professor rank. This position is incentive eligible. Pay for Faculty positions is based on a variety of factors, including degree, specialty, clinical practice and experience. Faculty without credited time in rank will generally start at the entry rate for their relevant specialty and rank. This position is eligible for relocation assistance or a sign-on bonus.
