HVAC Mechanic (Vernon)

Terms of Employment Permanent, Full Time Anticipated Start Date ASAP Location Vernon (North Okanagan, BC) Salary Starting hourly base wage rate: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Additional Pay Overtime On-call compensation Schedule 5 & 4 work week rotation. Every other Friday off On-call rotation - once every three months Job Type Full-time Expected Hours 40 – 45 per week Requirements Valid BC driver's license required. Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Red Seal Certificate (B Gas Ticket required for Vernon, BC region). Minimum 3 years of experience. Excellent English written, spoken and reading skills. Control Systems experience with energy conservation, computerized monitoring, electrical devices, programmable logic controllers (PLC) an asset. Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components. Perform routine maintenance and servicing. Install, calibrate and repair control systems.
