ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Profile new and existing customers to better serve their financial needs; advise on appropriate bank products and services. Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming customers, using their names, taking responsibility, and exceeding expectations. Prepare and compile new customer information in accordance with CIP and KYC policies. Open new accounts, ensuring documentation completeness, scanning, and timely follow‑up. Complete account/file maintenance with proper documentation. Assist customers with stop payments, debit card orders/reorders, disputes, IRAs, health savings accounts, wire transfers, Directoa‑México, online and mobile banking. Respond promptly to calls and emails, owning issues, resolving them, and providing timely feedback. Respond to account inquiries, suggest resolutions for disputes, and maintain customer relationships. Participate in branch goal meetings and events. Make quality referrals to other bank departments and partners. Generate new business to meet profitability goals. Perform all customer transactions, log them in the system, and follow established procedures. Cash checks, receive deposits, verify amounts and signatures. Place holds on accounts per regulations. Monitor account activity for potential fraud. Balance cash drawer at shift end and maintain appropriate levels. Process savings bonds, cashier’s checks, and other branch items. Provide safe deposit box access per procedures. Assist tellers with daily transaction balancing. Assist in balancing vault as needed. Participate in Daily Plan Sessions and weekly branch meetings. Complete required training within prescribed deadlines. Protect customer information and bank property. Adhere to all bank and regulatory requirements and training requirements. Participate in local community and bank‑sponsored events. Perform other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required. Must be 18 years old. Six to twelve months of bank teller experience preferred. Customer service, sales, or cross‑selling experience desired. SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, word processing, and email systems. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Initiative and ability to work independently. Willingness to travel to various TBK Bank locations for training and other duties. SALARY AND EMPLOYMENT Pay range depends on applicable experience and skill level.
