About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their mission-driven organization. The CFO will be a key partner to the CEO and Executive Team, leading the financial strategy and ensuring strong fiscal performance. This role involves shaping and executing organization-wide strategic goals, providing financial insight to the Board and Executive Committee, and overseeing compliance, risk management, and audit readiness. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' senior financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years at the executive level, and a deep expertise in GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A. Hands-on experience with M&A activity and a strong background in risk management and resource allocation are also essential. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should be excellent communicators, capable of building relationships across a diverse, multidisciplinary team. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's in Business preferred. The role demands a strategic financial executive who is passionate about making a difference and is committed to championing a culture of transparency, equity, and collaboration. The CFO will also be responsible for building out a more robust bonus/profit-share structure and must have a working knowledge of state and federal funding programs. The position is in-person with remote flexibility and is not open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship.
