About the Team  

The Xpanner Accounting team is the strategic engine driving our rapid U.S. expansion. Far from a traditional back-office, we partner directly with Sales, Operations, and Field Support to scale our financial infrastructure alongside our construction AI technology. How you'll make impact:

You will be the financial backbone of a team that is revolutionizing the construction industry. You will take ownership of our day-to-day accounting operations, transforming complex financial data into the clear insights that drive our high-growth initiatives. By managing everything from full-cycle accounting to strategic month-end closes, your precision and problem-solving skills will directly enable Xpanner to scale our AI solutions in the field. 

Core Responsibilities :  

• Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintain vendor compliance documentation (e.g., W-9, 1099). 
• Close Processes & GAAP: Execute month-end and year-end close activities, including preparing and posting GAAP-compliant adjusting journal entries. 
• Reconciliations: Perform comprehensive bank, credit card, and general ledger account reconciliations, proactively investigating and resolving discrepancies. 
• ERP Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records utilizing NetSuite ERP. 
• Compliance & Audits: Assist with sales tax filings, maintain proper accounting documentation, and support external audit requests. 
• Inventory Accounting: Support accurate inventory tracking, reconciliation, and management processes. 
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure accurate transaction recording, while continuously identifying ways to improve accounting processes and internal controls. 

What You'll Bring   

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 3–5 years of hands-on, full-cycle accounting experience. 
• Core Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of US GAAP, with proven experience executing month-end close, AP/AR, and complex general ledger reconciliations. 
• Technical Proficiency: Strong Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and hands-on experience navigating NetSuite or similar ERP systems. 
• Cross-Functional Communication: Clear and collaborative communication style, with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance teams like Sales and Operations. 
• Founder's Mentality: A highly organized, adaptable self-starter who takes ownership of their work, solves problems proactively, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience with sales tax compliance  
• Experience supporting financial audits  
• Experience working in a startup or fast-growing company environment  
• Experience working in a construction or manufacturing-related industry is a plus  
• Bilingual in Korean and English preferred, but not required
