Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as an Occupational Therapist in Morton Grove, IL, just outside Chicago. In this school-based role, you’ll bring your expertise to a single campus, working closely with a dedicated team, students, and educators to foster growth and independence in a supportive learning environment. This assignment runs through the end of the school year, with a manageable caseload of 15 students, ensuring you have the time and resources to provide personalized care.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in PA (Illinois license also required or willingness to obtain)
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience in school settings or with elementary-aged children strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dedicated to promoting student growth, independence, and participation in school routines

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy interventions to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to facilitate student success
• Conduct assessments and document ongoing progress for each student on your caseload
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and develop or update IEP goals as needed
• Offer strategies and support to accommodate diverse learning needs within the classroom environment
