Pediatrics: General, Queens

Position Overview The Department of Pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Pediatrician to join the Theresa Lang Children’s Center in Flushing, Queens. The Theresa Lang Children’s Center is an academic, hospital‑based, multi‑specialty, comprehensive pediatric care center serving the Queens community and beyond, caring for children ages 0‑21. It is one of two continuity clinic training sites for the NYP/Weill Cornell Pediatric Residency Program and participates in the Weill Cornell Medical School student clerkship in Pediatrics . Responsibilities Precept residents in clinic and teach medical students. Provide direct patient care to a panel of patients without resident involvement. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Provide some weekend and evening coverage. Additional language proficiency is a plus. Compensation The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $240,000. Compensation does not include benefits and may include incentive payments based on quality measures and productivity. Academic Appointment The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College, with academic rank commensurate with experience and credentials.
