This is a hands-on opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working with tools, troubleshooting equipment, and keeping production tooling in reliable working condition. Schedule & Compensation: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Overtime opportunities Comprehensive benefits, 401(k), PTO and paid holidays What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance on multi-cavity plastic injection molds Disassemble, clean, inspect, lubricate and rebuild molds Identify worn or damaged components and assist with repairs Replace springs, pins, bushings, inserts and other tooling components Assist Toolmakers with mold troubleshooting, repairs and modifications Prepare molds for production and support mold changes Read blueprints and use precision measuring tools Use basic machine tools such as lathes, mills and grinders as needed Maintain an organized tool room and accurate maintenance records Operate a sit-down forklift to move and store molds Follow safety and quality procedures and communicate tooling concerns What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability Experience with mechanical maintenance, repair, assembly or tooling preferred Ability to disassemble and rebuild mechanical components Comfortable reading blueprints and using measuring tools Basic machine tool experience is a plus Forklift experience preferred; ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift required Willingness to learn injection mold maintenance and tooling processes Interested in hearing more?
