Commercial Door Technician

Cisco Inc. is looking for an experienced Commercial Door Technician in Lansing, MI. This position would report to our Door & Gate division located in Muskegon (2210 Roberts St, Muskegon, MI) Full Time, 1st-Shift | Monday – Friday | Overtime and Weekends Availability Required * Compensation starts at $25+, negotiable depending on experience Cisco Inc. has a strict drug-free policy and any position with the company would require a pre-employment drug screen, including marijuana, as well as a physical exam and a background check. About Our Field Service Technicians: Our Door Technicians travel to customer locations, using a company van/truck, to provide the on-site client installations, repairs, and maintenance of all brands of sectional doors, rolling doors, and entry doors. Qualifications: Have a Valid Driver’s License in Good Standing Possess a Strong Technical /Mechanical Aptitude 3+ years of Experience in Commercial and/or Residential Door Service Proficient with Hand and Power Tools Have Good Customer Relations Skills with Clear and Concise Language Skills Enjoy being part of a Team, but can Work Independently Utilize Technology such as a Laptop or Tablet Responsibilities: Service, Maintenance, Repair, and Installation on Commercial Doors Troubleshoot Door Equipment, Mechanisms, Mechanical and Electrical Systems Knowledge of Gate Access Systems Coordinate with Parts and Service Department Daily Complete Work Orders in a Timely Manner Follow All Safety Procedures within Cisco Inc’s Guidelines Perform any Other Duties as Assigned About the Benefits We offer health, dental, vision, FSA options, life, and disability insurance available on the first day of employment.
