Facility Security OfficerWe are seeking a Facility Security Officer who will be responsible for maintaining Aery's overall security program by implementing the required security policies and procedures to comply with all federal and contractual obligations.What You Will Be DoingMaintain the overall security program for cleared contractor facilitiesEstablish and maintain successful working relationships with government and internal customersEnsure compliance with NISPOM, DCSA, government, and company security requirementsPrepare the facility for DCSA security inspectionsRespond to DCSA findings and support corrective actionsMaintain facility security documentation and recordsProcess new employee security clearancesTrack security clearance investigations and eligibilityPerform personnel security administrative functions using DISS and NBISCoordinate employee fingerprinting and submission of required documentationReview and process SF-86, SF-85, and other security forms for accuracy and completenessProcess employee security in-processing and out-processingConduct security briefings, debriefings, and security awareness trainingIssue and maintain required security briefings and training recordsPrepare, issue, and maintain DD Form 254sReview DD254 requirements and ensure security requirements are communicated to personnelManage classified visits and verify visitor clearance/access requirementsManage personnel access to classified information based on clearance and need-to-knowMaintain accountability and control of classified materialsEnsure proper storage, handling, transmission, reproduction, transportation, and destruction of classified informationConduct classified material inventories as requiredIdentify, document, and report security incidents and violationsSupport inquiries and corrective actions related to security incidentsMaintain physical security requirements for classified areas and informationCoordinate with security, facilities, IT, ISSM/ISSO, and other internal personnel on security requirementsSupport Insider Threat Program requirements and reporting, as applicableCoordinate security requirements with program managers and contract personnelSupport subcontractor security requirements when applicableMaintain employee and facility security recordsMonitor ongoing compliance with applicable government and company security policiesProvide guidance to employees and management regarding security requirementsCoordinate with DCSA and other government security representatives as requiredMaintain awareness of changes to security regulations, policies, and proceduresEnsure appropriate security measures are implemented to protect classified informationSupport classified information system security requirements in coordination with IT/ISSM/ISSO personnel, when applicableCoordinate with Counterintelligence (CI) personnel on potential security threats, suspicious contacts and other CI concernsCoordinate and provide required foreign travel briefings and security guidance to cleared personnelSupport CI-related reporting and awareness requirements for cleared personnelCoordinate with CI personnel regarding potential threats or security concerns involving employees, foreign contacts or travelCoordinate personnel security requirements for employees requiring access to information systemsReview personnel security requirements to ensure individuals have the appropriate clearance and access eligibility before system access to grantedCoordinate with IT and Management regarding personnel security and system access requirementsMaintain and track personnel security documentation, access authorizations and related recordsSupport onboarding, transfers and terminated by coordinating appropriate security and system access actionsVerify clearance status and need-to-know requirements for personnel requiring access to protected information systemsEnsure personnel security requirements are aligned with applicable government, contractual, and company policiesSupport security investigations, audits and inspections involving personnel access to information systemsYou Must HaveMust be a U.S. CitizenMust have an active Secret clearanceMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO)Must have a High school diplomaRequires strong working knowledge of JPAS and e-QIPExperience in processing SF-86, SF-312, Security Investigations and Periodic ReinvestigationProficient with Microsoft Suite, Teams and OutlookExcellent presentation, briefing, communication, and interpersonal skillsMust be able to work well in a dynamic and fast-paced team environmentMust be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline driven environmentNice to HavesPrior experience in government contractingWorking knowledge of Microsoft 365 applicationsPrevious IC or DoD interaction/service and support experienceB.S. or B.A. degree
