About the job

The Warehouse Manager will lead a small forklift team while staying hands-on with daily warehouse operations, material flow, organization, and vendor needs.

We're looking for someone who

● Has solid hands-on warehouse experience, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials

● Has experience supervising or leading a small warehouse team

● Is forklift certified and comfortable regularly operating a forklift

● Is willing to jump in and load or unload materials alongside the team when needed

● Can keep a busy warehouse organized as inventory, materials, and priorities continually change

● Uses good judgment and common sense to solve day-to-day warehouse challenges

● Has strong people skills and can communicate effectively with employees, vendors, and leadership

● Can identify, classify, and properly route incoming materials

● Is dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment

What you'll do

● Supervise and support a crew of approximately 4–6 forklift drivers

● Stay actively involved in daily warehouse operations alongside the team

● Coordinate the safe loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing materials

● Operate a forklift and assist with loading and unloading as needed

● Identify and define incoming materials to ensure they are handled and routed appropriately

● Organize warehouse materials and adjust layouts as inventory and operational needs change

● Coordinate material needs and pickups with vendors receiving recycled materials

● Monitor workflow and assign daily priorities to the warehouse team

● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

● Communicate operational needs, material issues, and priorities with the appropriate teams

● Help resolve day-to-day warehouse challenges quickly and practically
