Job Summary

We are seeking a Bilingual Spanish Payroll Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional with a strong restaurant, hospitality, retail, or multi-location operations background and advanced ADP Workforce Now Payroll expertise.

The Bilingual Spanish Payroll Manager will oversee full-cycle payroll for 500+ employees, manage multi-state payroll compliance, and serve as the primary payroll subject matter expert for Human Resources, Finance, and Operations. This is a strong opportunity to join a stable, fast-paced food and beverage production environment with supportive leadership, collaborative teams, and visibility across key business functions.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, confident working with complex payroll data, and comfortable supporting both English- and Spanish-speaking employees and leaders.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage full-cycle bi-weekly payroll processing for 500+ employees across multi-state operations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, payroll tax requirements, and labor regulations.
- Oversee payroll tax filings, reconciliations, quarter-end processing, year-end processing, audits, and reporting.
- Administer deductions, garnishments, wage assignments, benefits-related payroll transactions, and employee status changes.
- Review and process meal and rest period premium payments, labor compliance violations, and related payroll adjustments.
- Generate payroll reports and partner with Human Resources, Finance, Operations, and senior leadership to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $70,000 to $85,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Work Location: Los Angeles, CA.
