Senior People Advisor (HRBP)

This is a high-impact role where you will help shape the employee experience, strengthen organizational capability, and drive HR excellence across approximately 300 employees.The OpportunityAs a trusted HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in aligning people strategies with business priorities. You will operate as both a strategic advisor and an operational expert—guiding leaders through complex employee matters, supporting organizational change, and ensuring compliance with U.S. labor laws and company policies.This role offers a unique opportunity to work across diverse environments, including commercial and manufacturing operations, while collaborating with an international HR team.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a strategic and operational HR partner to leaders across multiple sitesProvide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and HR policiesManage complex employee cases, including disciplinary actions, performance concerns, leave management, and exitsPartner with leaders to drive engagement, organizational effectiveness, and culture initiativesLead and support HR projects that deliver measurable business impactSupport compensation and benefits processes in partnership with regional Rewards teamsCollaborate with labor unions and participate in collective bargaining activitiesContribute to organizational design, workforce planning, and change initiativesCoach and mentor managers and HR colleagues to build leadership capabilityEnsure consistent application of HR practices and compliance with all applicable regulationsWhat You BringYou are a seasoned HR professional who is comfortable navigating complexity, influencing stakeholders, and balancing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field10+ years of progressive HR experience in a Business Partner or HR leadership roleStrong knowledge of U.S. labor and employment lawProven experience managing complex employee relations mattersExperience working in unionized environments and supporting collective bargainingStrong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into actionExcellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with sound judgmentWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation: $140,000 – $170,000 base salaryMeaningful impact: A role where you can directly influence culture, leadership, and business outcomesAutonomy: Empowerment to shape HR initiatives and drive changeCollaborative environment: A supportive, globally connected HR communityCulture: An inclusive, informal workplace where ideas and contributions are valuedAt FrieslandCampina, we believe HR plays a vital role in building a sustainable, people-centered organization.
