About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Candidates must have NIH and ACLS certifications. Description: Unit information includes a total of 36 beds. The staffing consists of 40 members. Day shift includes 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, and 1 HUC. Night shift includes 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1 HUC. Patient ratios are 5:1 or 6:1 on day shifts and can stretch to 7:1 on night shifts. Standard medical-surgical equipment is utilized on the unit. The electronic medical record system in use is Cerner. Candidates with neuro experience will be prioritized during hiring. Typical procedures performed on the unit include Foley insertion and IV starts. Ideal candidates are outgoing and self-motivated. Floating may occur to other medical-surgical floors. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs. Every other weekend commitment is expected. This position is a contractor replacement.
